THE ISLE OF ITAMARACÁ
The isle counts with 65 km2 of beautiful nature, with white beaches, palm-trees, a blue sea, and a very gentle local population. Amongst the most remarkable sites of the island are an originally Dutch Fortress, built in 1631, the in 1534 on the top of a hill built village of Vila Velha, the Centre for sea-cows, and the small, un-habited island called ‘Coroa de Avião’, right in front of the hotel and the fortress.
